Chapter 14: The Washer

I had him against the dryer before the washer finished filling.

My hands were in his shirt, and I tore it open down the front.

Two buttons rang off the concrete floor and rolled under the sink.

"Mari," Jussi said.

"Don't talk."

"I only wanted to say."

"I know what you wanted to say," I said. "You're sorry. You're so sorry. You've been sorry for eleven years and you sat there eating."

I kissed him then, and it was not a kiss.

I bit his lower lip, hard enough to taste copper, and he groaned into my mouth and did not pull away.

"Tell me to stop," I said against his teeth.

"Never," said Jussi.

"Good."

I shoved his shirt off his shoulders and dragged my nails down his chest.

He hissed.

Red lines rose on the sunburned skin under the hair.

The washer lurched into its first slow turn behind me, and the floor hummed under my boots.

I got his belt open with one yank.

I opened his jeans and pushed them down with his shorts, and his cock sprang out, flushed and heavy and already wet at the tip.

"Look at that," I said.

"You're hard for me. You're hard, and you lied to me."

"Yes," Jussi said.

"Both," I said.

"Yes, Mari."

I wrapped my fist around him and squeezed.

His head hit the side of the dryer with a thud, and he cried out my name.

I stroked him once, slowly, hard, from root to tip, and his hips jerked.

Then I dropped to my knees on the cold floor and took him in my mouth.

I did not tease.

I sucked him deep and ruthless, hollowing my cheeks, my hand pumping what I couldn't reach.

He made a noise I felt in my own throat.

His fingers scrabbled for my hair and stopped an inch away.

"Can I?" he gasped.

"Hold the dryer," I said, around him.

His hands slapped back against the metal.

I took him to the back of my throat and held him there, and his whole body shook.

Then I pulled off and bit the inside of his thigh.
