Chapter 22: Mine

Margot's POV

"Yes," I said.

I said it in the vestry, and again in the truck, and a third time in the elevator of the Front Street hotel with his hands already on the first of my buttons.

The doors opened on his floor.

We did not make it to the bed.

He backed me into the suite and kicked the door shut and turned me to face the window.

The river was dark below us, with the bridge lit gold.

"Forty-one," he said against my neck.

"You counted."

"I count everything about you."

He started at the top this time.

One button at a time, slowly, from my shoulder blades to the base of my spine, with his lips following each one.

By the twentieth my hands were flat on the glass.

By the thirtieth I was shaking.

"Dom."

"I know."

"If you're slow now, I'll kill you."

"I'm not going to be slow."

The last button gave way and the silk fell off my shoulders and slid down my hips to the floor.

I stood at the window in white lace.

He wrapped one arm around my waist and pulled my back against his chest, and I felt how hard he was through his trousers.

"Look at you," he said. "Wedding day. Nothing on but me."

"You haven't taken anything off."

"I will."

His hand slid into my underwear from behind, and two fingers pushed into my pussy, slick and deep.

I moaned and pushed back against him.

"You're soaked," he said. "Is that for me?"

"It's always for you."

He worked me with his fingers while his mouth found the place under my ear, and his thumb rolled my clit in tight circles.
