Chapter 32: The Harbor Light
I got down on my good knee on the gold carpet so we were eye to eye.
"Yes," I said. "I'm still your Aunt Robin."
"Even though you don't live with us?"
"Even though."
He thought about it with the fist against his chest.
"Saturdays?"
"Every Saturday. Ten to four."
"Can it be ten to five?"
"Ask your dad."
He turned and ran back toward the doors to the hall, with the bear flapping under his arm.
Then he pushed through the door with his whole body and was gone.
Cal held out his hand, and I took it, and we went out into the street.
The lavender in the Kristy Dalton Garden was just coming up in May.

There were white folding chairs again, about sixty of them.
