Chapter 18: Slow and Full
He had lit only the lamp on the nightstand.
The bedroom was gold and shadow.
I knelt in the middle of the bed in nothing but my silver hoops, with my forearms folded on a pillow.
Cal knelt behind me.
He had kissed the length of my spine from the nape to the dimples at the base, slowly, with his hands moving up my sides.
I was already shaking.
"Tell me again," he said, close to my ear.
"I want you to take me there."
"Where?"
"My ass, Cal."
He breathed out through his nose.
His palm slid over the curve of it and squeezed, warm and heavy, and I pushed back into his hand.
"Slow," I said. "I want it slow."
"It'll be as slow as you like. We have all night."
"I know."
"You'll tell me when you're ready for each part."
"I'll tell you."
I heard the soft click of a cap.
Something cool and slick touched the cleft of me, and I flinched, and then his thumb began to circle there.
It was a strange sensation, shy and bright, a ring of nerves I'd never let anyone near.
He kept the pressure light.
He circled and circled, and with his other hand he reached around and found my clit and began to stroke it slowly in time.
The two feelings met in the middle and shimmered.
"Oh," I said.
"Mm."
"Keep going."
"Open for me, sweetheart."
I breathed out and let go.
The tip of his thumb pressed in, just the first joint, and the stretch was sharp and strange and then it was warm.
I made a sound into the pillow.
"There," he murmured. "You're doing it. Good girl. Just breathe."
"It's so much."
"It's one thumb."
"I know. I want more."
He laughed, low, and the sound ran down my back.
