Chapter 9: After Close
The treatment table in my clinic is four feet off the floor and padded in black vinyl.
It takes a big man's weight without a sound.
Rhett lay on it flat on his back with his jeans around his knees.
I stood over him in my scrub top and nothing else, with the blinds closed and the OPEN sign switched off.
It was Wednesday at seven-thirty, and the whole building was ours.
"Doc," he said, looking up at the ceiling tile he had stared at for three months. "I've been on this table forty times."
"I know," I said.
"I never once thought about it like this."
"You thought about it exactly like this."
He closed his eyes and grinned.
"Yes, ma'am."
Boone stood by the wall with his hat in his hand and watched the two of us.
He had said almost nothing since he walked in.
He had put his hat down and looked at the traction table, the goniometer on its hook, and the charts, and then at me.
"Boone," I said. "Take off your clothes and come here."
He undressed in the light of the one lamp I had left on.
I watched his hands.
They were steady tonight.
I took the percussion massager off the shelf.
It was the white one with the soft round head I used on calves.
I set it down by Rhett's hip.
"What's that for?" Rhett said.
"You'll see."
I pulled my scrub top over my head.
I climbed up onto the table and over his hips, a knee on either side, and sank down onto his cock.
He was already hard, and I took him all the way in one slow slide.
We both groaned.
His hands came up to grip my thighs, and the width of them covered most of me.
"Don't move yet," I said.
"Doc."
"Not yet."
I switched on the massager.
It buzzed against my palm, low and steady.
I rested the soft head on my clit and turned it to the lowest setting.
The shock of it went through my whole body.
