Chapter 9: Suite 4112
Luca ran his belt twice around my wrists and pulled it snug.
It was black leather, warm from his body, and he knotted it in four exact movements and tested it with two fingers.
"Too tight?"
"No," I said.
"Tell me if it is."
"Luca, it's perfect," I said.
The suite on the forty-first floor was dark except for the lights of the Strip across the glass.
Marco had given Luca the key, and Luca had given me four minutes in the elevator to think about it.
I had not thought about it.
I had spent four minutes with my back against the wall and his hand flat over my mouth while the numbers climbed.
Now he lifted my bound hands over my head.
He hooked the loop of the belt around the carved post at the head of the bed.
I lay back on the white sheets with my arms stretched above me, in my steakhouse dress, with two men looking down.
Nico stood at the foot of the bed with his tie already off.
He had followed us up without saying a word, and his chest was rising and falling very fast.
"Oh," he said, very softly. "Luca."
"Yes," Luca said.
"Is she okay?" Nico asked.
"Ask her."
Nico looked at me.
"I'm better than okay," I said. "I'm furious that you're both still dressed."
Luca's mouth moved.
He sat on the edge of the bed and unzipped my dress down the side, slowly.
He slid it off my hips and down my legs, and found nothing underneath.
He went still.
His hand found my thigh.
"Hm," he said.
"That's all?" I said.
"You went to dinner with a stranger like this."
"I went to dinner with a stranger and the four of you watching."
Luca bent and kissed me, slow and deep, with his hand spread flat on my stomach.
He kissed my throat and my breasts.
He took each nipple between his teeth in turn, lightly, until I writhed against the belt.
"You're beautiful when you can't move," he said against my skin.
"Untie me, and I'll show you how beautiful I am when I can."
"No."
Nico made a sound.
