Chapter 13: She Chooses

"All four," I said. "Come in and shut the door."

Nobody moved for a moment.

Then Tobias stepped over the threshold, and the other three came in behind him, and the lock clicked.

I sat up against the headboard with the quilt around my waist.

"Nobody touches me until I say," I told them.

"Yes," Felix said.

"Stefan. The armchair."

He blinked at me.

"You never had your turn, not properly. Sit."

He crossed the room, dropped into the armchair by the window and grinned up at me with his sleeves still rolled.

"I've been told," he said, "that I talk too much."

"You'll talk less in a minute."

I got out of bed in the long shirt I had slept in and crossed the cold floor.

I pulled the shirt over my head and let it fall.

Stefan's grin went out.

I opened his belt myself, and his zipper, and he lifted his hips so I could push his trousers down.

He was already hard, and he groaned when I took him in my hand.

I climbed onto his lap with my knees either side of the chair arms and sank down on him an inch at a time.

"Verena," he said, and his voice cracked in the middle of it. "Verena, look at me."

"I'm looking."

His hands came up to my face.

He was not teasing now, and he was not hiding behind a joke.

He kissed me slowly while I rocked on him, and I felt every inch of what he had kept to himself for years.

"Felix," I said, without breaking the kiss. "Behind me."

I heard him cross the floor.

His hands settled on my shoulders, then slid down my back, and he pressed his mouth to the nape of my neck.

"Glasses off," I said.

"They're off."

"Jonas. On your knees."

He was already kneeling at the side of the chair.

"Where?" he asked, hoarse.
